About Clear Fact Guide
Clear Fact Guide makes everyday nutrition easier to understand.
Food advice can be confusing. One article calls an ingredient a superfood, while another warns people to avoid it. Clear Fact Guide was created to separate practical nutrition information from exaggerated claims.
Our current editorial focus is everyday food and nutrition. We explain common questions using clear language, reliable sources, and practical examples.
What We Cover
We publish clear, practical guides about:
everyday food ingredients and their nutrients;
reasonable serving sizes and simple ways to use foods;
fresh, frozen, dried, canned, and other food comparisons;
storage and preparation methods;
the strength and limits of common health claims; and
allergies, medication interactions, and other safety considerations when relevant.
Our Editorial Approach
We begin with reliable sources such as USDA FoodData Central, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and other recognized public-health organizations.
When a topic requires research evidence, we give priority to systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and well-designed human studies.
We distinguish between strong, moderate, and limited evidence. An association found in an observational study is not presented as proof that a food causes a health outcome. Animal or laboratory findings are not described as established benefits in humans.
Our goal: explain what the evidence supports, what remains uncertain, what a practical serving may look like, and who may need to be careful.
